The USPTA Adult League gives you the opportunity to qualify for the state play-off in Houston. The tennis league is tailor made for all levels and is guaranteed to provide you with competitive match play this fall. Men’s and women’s doubles teams may sign up in the following levels: 4.5, 4.0, 3.5, and 3.0.
Each level will have a separate match schedule. The number of matches and the length of the league will be determined by the number of entries. Play-off will be held for levels with multiple flights. Each match will play two out of three sets, regular scoring with a 12 point tie-breaker at 6 all. A 10 point tie-breaker will be played for the third set. The first and second place teams in each level will qualify for state playoffs in Houston.

Schedules will be available at www.lubbocktennis.com beginning September 2. Reporting results and scores can also be entered online at the same web site. Scores will be updated on the web site on a regular basis.
Play-offs will be used in divisions with more than one flights with schedules and other information becoming available as the flights complete their matches. Players schedule their own match times. Play matches early if you are going to be unavailable the week a match is scheduled. Courtesy and cooperation are key to the success of the league.
